When you host a shoe drive fundraiser, there is NO COST to you. Simply ask your community to support your cause by donating gently used or new, wearable shoes. The more pairs you collect, the more money you’ll raise for your cause!
We provide the support and promotional material templates. You job is to have your group collect 100 bags of 25 pairs each of gently worn or new sneakers and shoes. Once you have met or exceeded your 100-bag minimum and have rubber banded the pairs together our truck will come pick them up. We will cut you a check that week for $.45 a pound. This works out to approximately $1000.00 or more for your group or cause by simply asking people to clean out their closets.
These sneakers and shoes will be distributed via micro-enterprise programs in Africa and the rest of the developing world providing footwear to some of the poorest areas in the world while at the same time allowing these same people to earn a living to support their families. Since these sneakers and shoes will be reused it is critical that they are in new or gently used condition.
